Toilet Training a boxer puppy?
my friend has just got a boxer puppy …she keeps weeing and pooing on the floor we wont her to do it on the paper seeing as it is to cold out side and the puppy shivers like mad … and how can we just train her to do it outside aswell
Take the puppy out every hours for 7 days. Praise him when he goes to the bathroom – at times you might have to wait him out if you know he has to go especially since he has gone in the house. Then after a week extend the time a little bit. When she is gone she should leave him in a crate – if you don’t you are just setting him up to get in trouble. Most dogs won’t go in their own crate unless they absolutely cannot hold it. I am telling you this works – my dog was potty trained in 2 weeks but you have to be consistent. After about 9 months we didn’t crate the dog anymore as well.
