How many of you watch the tv program “Dog Whisperer”?
Today I took my 4 year old Chihuahua to the vet for some shots and as usual she was nervous and bouncing off the walls and this has been going on like this for years. So I remembered some of the methods of calming a dog down and IT WORKED!!! After 5 minutes I had her calm and laying down. I am sooooooooooo thrilled. Thank you Ceaser on Dog Whisperer. I love that program. Have you tried using his methods on your dogs?
I watched about a dozen episodes when I catch him at other people’s houses because I don’t get his show at home. I read his book too. The dominance training opened my eyes. I don’t let my dog walk ahead of me, she can’t squeeze through doors or rush up the steps before me. I stand up straight when I really want her to listen, so it helps my slouching. My doggie is completely obedient. She’s confident because she we have a vocabulary with her, she knows tricks, and she’s still being challenged with more tricks.
