Dog Behaviour
Can anyone explain this dog behaviour?
We have a middle aged rescue beagle that has a good temperament. She has two strange behaviours that I hope soeone can explain what they mean.
The first is that the dog loves to get up in her owner’s faces. Sometimes, she’ll paw at our faces or get her head as close as possible to us. After she’s able to do this, she goes off and does other things, but still does this action a lot. what does it mean?
Sometimes the dog will try to dig through the couch cushions and/or root around in and under pillows and blankets. However, she usually sleeps in her crate or dog bed. what is she doing this for?
attention.. and she is probably looking for goodies in the couch.
