Dog Behaviorist
Where would I get training to become a professional dog behaviorist/trainer? (Best answer will be picked)?
I’m interested in taking courses to become a professional dog trainer/dog behaviorist, but only one college in my area provides anything, and it’s just a basic “animal behavior” class (I intend to take it, but I definitely need more training). Any advice is appreciated, especially from dog trainers.
Find a behaviorist in your area and make an appointment to talk with him/her about their experiences and schooling. Don’t forget to ask about the cost of this schooling & how long it takes before you can get certified
